We are a swimming club that provides an opportunity for swimmers of all ages aged from 0 to 106 , enabling them to swim in a safe environment

Club

Stockton Amateur Swimming Club has been around since 1876

We cater for all ages in 3 main categories:

  • Parent and Toddler (after inoculations)
  • Non-Swimmers from the age of 5 (without arm bands/flotation devices) in our learner pools – this includes Beginners and Lessons
  • Swimmers, who can swim a length with a reasonable stroke, from about the age of 6 or 7 (or later for those late developers) – this includes Juniors, Swim Skills, Age Group Competitive, Masters and Senior Recreational

If individuals develop well and are technically strong, they may be chosen to progress via the ‘Club Pathway’, through to the Borough of Stockton Swimming Scheme (BOSSS).

However, if the swimmer does not want to ‘progress’ to competitive swimming then there is always a place for them in our sessions.

Our sessions are ran throughout the year, seven days a week with the exception of holiday periods as found in our calendar. On top of the annual membership fees, swimmers are charged on a ‘pay as you swim’ basis per session attended, with a full list of our sessions and charges as follows:

*Please note that there is a waiting list for Beginners and Lessons
